The portable, battery-operated light torch adds daylight-balanced, best in class LED technology to the equation. The adjustable light intensity allows the practitioner to adapt to any situation during the FEES exam. Furthermore, the light torch functions as a handle giving the endoscopist a total of 3 anchor points to hold the equipment comfortably and securely.
Light is crucial for increased image quality. Made proudly in the USA, PatCom's LED Light Torch acts as a reliable and easy-to-use external light source. It is incredibly light and a fully charged battery can last up to 45 minutes on full brightness. 2 batteries are included in a system with a recharging port. Simply swap out the batteries between patients. Our external, battery-operated light source reduces the number of cables and the need for a large light box, making portability even more achievable.

Q: How is the light source powered?
A: Our light source is battery operated and comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and charger.Q: 2 batteries are not enough for me. Can I use any rechargeable batteries? Or do they have to be the ones provided with the system
A: It is recommended that the batteries provided are used for the light torch. There is an option to purchase a 4 port digital charger with 8 additional rechargeable batteries for an affordable price. Please contact us for information about this add on.Q: Are other light sources compatible with your endoscope?
A: Yes, our endoscope comes with a Wolf Adapter and Storz-Olympus light adapter if needed.
